Frequently asked questions
A few of the basics about what The Wizards Clock is and how it is intended to be used.
Is this a coding kit?
No. The Wizards Clock is designed so learners can build and use it without needing to write code. The underlying programming work is handled behind the scenes so learners can focus on how the system works.
What does the clock point to?
It points to meaningful locations or states chosen by the user rather than telling time in the traditional sense. That is what gives the clock its distinctive learning value and personality.
Can learners design the face themselves?
Yes. Personalizing the face is part of the experience. That creative dimension is intentional and helps bring the “A” in STEAM into the finished project.
Is it intended only for schools?
No. It is intended for classrooms, families, students, and individual learners who enjoy hands-on technology experiences.
How large is the finished clock?
The concept is intentionally compact rather than oversized. It is meant to feel practical and buildable, making it well suited for a small clock face and tabletop or shelf display.
Does it send GPS coordinates?
No. A privacy-conscious architecture eliminates sending GPS coordinates.
When is it coming?
The Wizards Clock is built and nearing launch. Additional launch details will be shared as the product rollout is finalized.
